1) I OPPOSE legislation allowing insurance companies to offer plans that did not comply the state coverage requirements.

2) I SUPPORT expanding current programs such as Medicare to ensure that pregnant women have access to prenatal, delivery and newborn care.

However, I also encourage Responsibility Abortions because our government cannot continue with a baby producing entitlements attitude.

3a) I OPPOSE limiting access to oral contraceptives by allowing pharmacists who morally oppose their use to refuse to fill such prescriptions.

3b) I would OPPOSE legislation requiring that emergency contraception be made available to victims of rape in hospital emergency rooms.

5) What policies would you support to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies?  --

I encourage Responsibility Abortions because our government cannot continue with a baby producing entitlements.  I feel sure women do not want to go through an abortion, so they will seek other ways of birth control on their own without government intervention -- but intervention is alright also.

6) I SUPPORT that women have the right to obtain a safe, legal abortion under the standards set forth by the U.S. Supreme Court in Roe v. Wade.

My Responsibility Abortion approach fits in with Roe v. Wade and because I encourage the Responsibility Abortion it counteracts groups who want to overpopulate making our government pay for it.  The groups are nothing more than thieves.

7) I SUPPORT legislation that substitutes the General Assembly's judgement for the physician's, and thereby interferes with the doctor-patient relationship.

We have laws for a reason, and sometimes physicians need be controlled.  Nobody is above the law and the laws are created by our legislature and our courts.  As a citizen, if we do not like a law, then we need to take efforts to get others to want to change it also -- democracy.

8a) I SUPPORT legislation requiring that STD and HIV/AIDS prevention methods including but not limited to abstinence by taught.

8b) As a legislature, what policies would you support to address the high numbers of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS?

Every person carrying HIV/AIDS needs to be tattooed in the genital area.  To accomplish this all need to be tested.  Herpes might ought to be considered in the same category.

9) I SUPPORT efforts requiring public schools teach both abstinence and about prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases (STD).

10) I OPPOSE legislation requiring minors to notify or obtain consent from a parent prior to receive contraceptive services?

However, for services such as abortion, and maybe others, the parents need to be notified after the procedure.

11a) I OPPOSE legislation banning lesbians and gays from adopting, thereby bypassing the case-by-case recommendations of child welfare experts on the best interest of the child.
11b) I SUPPORT legislation banning lesbians and gays from providing foster care.

Foster care sometimes temporarily cares for children of parents who would not want their children around gays or lesbians.  Their wishes need to be addressed.

12a), 12b) and 13) deal with adoption by a single person.  I am not knowledgeable enough to answer, but my first inclination is that it would require professional analysis.
